The match was evenly played in the first half with UT Dallas striking first with a Try to take a 5 point lead in the game, but UD fought back to tie it. It went like this the entire half, any time UT Dallas would score, UD would find an answer. The first half ended with the score even at 17.
The second half was more of the same but this time no one was able to get into the goal area, until late in the match UD capitalized on our misque and punched one in goal to win the match 22 to UTD's 17.

With a brief break between our loss to UD and the upcoming Texas St. match. We set our lineup and took the pitch to play them. This was a good match, UT Dallas came out swinging and put up scores, but then we had some mental breakdowns and let Texas St. back into the match. With less than 10 minutes to play the referee had both sides even at 33 each (the actual score at the time was UTD 33, Texas St. 31), but Lewis playing Flyhalf broke through the Texas St. defense to score the eventual game winner. UT Dallas 40, Texas St. 33.
Sunday morning, UT Dallas is poised to play Sam Houston St. for 5th and 6th place. The match is scheduled to kick off at 9:30am. While Sam Houston St. is a Tier 1 side, they aren't the same side that ran through us in the playoffs last year, the same way we aren't the same team that made it into the playoffs.
